AgriCharts Launches Free Quote Service for Agricultural Industry

DES MOINES, IA – April 16, 2008 – AgriCharts, a division of Barchart.com, Inc., which provides website hosting, market data, news and weather to the agricultural industry, today announced the launch of a new free quote service for agricultural market participants. The new service provides market quotes, charts, news and weather to users such as producers, elevators, co-ops, processors, brokers, traders and other market participants for free. Users can sign-up for the new free service at www.agricharts.com/free.

The new product is part of the AgriCharts Quote Product suite and is named AgPlus Delayed. AgriCharts also offers a real-time version of the same product, named AgPlus Real-Time for $29.95 per month. AgPlus is designed as an easy-to-use product which requires no setup by the user. Additionally, the service does not require any software to be installed, all a user needs is an internet connection and an internet browser, even a dial-up connection is supported.

AgPlus features quote boards which are already setup for the user and are interactive through a single click. Users can view various market overviews such as “grains” or drill-down to specific commodity products such as “corn” futures or options. Users can also access interactive charts which include multiple time periods as well as continuation periods. AgPlus also provides users with market commentary, news and weather, in addition to a custom quote and portfolio page which supports futures as well as stocks.
