Barchart.com, Inc. Hires Mark Haraburda as Head of Business Development and Sales

CHICAGO, IL – July 17, 2007 – Barchart.com, Inc. a leading provider of futures and equity market information, announced today that Mark Haraburda has joined Barchart as Managing Director of Business Development and Sales. Haraburda comes to Barchart from Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), where he served as Director of Business Development for CBOE Futures Exchange. Haraburda will report to Eero Pikat, President of Barchart.

As Managing Director of Business Development and Sales, Haraburda will be responsible for leading Barchart’s business development and sales units. Haraburda will also be responsible for further developing and expanding the Barchart brand, as well as building new relationships within the financial community.

“Haraburda’s experience in futures, equity and options markets, as well as his market data and trading software knowledge will position Barchart well for continued growth within the futures and equity industries,” said Eero Pikat, President of Barchart. “Barchart has recently acquired a variety of new business units and adding Haraburda will enhance our ability to continue to implement our growth strategies and expand,” said Pikat.

In this role, Haraburda will oversee business development, sales and marketing of Barchart products and services, including: real-time data services; data feeds; content and technology solutions; and website properties such as Barchart.com.

Prior to his role at CBOE, Haraburda was Director of Market Data Products & Information for Business Development at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). Haraburda also has previous experience at Bank One (now JP Morgan Chase & Co.).

Haraburda earned a Master of Science in Financial Markets from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bradley University.
